  My husband and I (both capoeiristas) moved to Bend in May 2016. We knew our stay would be temporary (about a year in total), but we wanted to connect to the capoeira community nonetheless. We are SO happy we did! UCA Bend fosters a supportive, fun, creative atmosphere, and we basically found a brand-new family (that we still consider family, even though we're out of state now)!
